Day Trips to Northern Cyprus

A minimum of 6 people are needed for all tours.

Today we will start at 09.00 – 17.30

Kantara, Salamis, Varosha

Today we start our trip by driving east along the coast road up to Kantara, one of the island’s three Crusader castles with an incredible beautiful view, which includes the King Richard the Lionheart was, we then go on down to the Salamis ruins, once Cyprus’ most powerful city. There we have also our lunch (for those who do not want to see the Salamis ruins can take the opportunity to take a bath). In the afternoon we come to Famagusta and we visit Varosha the “dead city”. Full day tour 150Tl / person lunch NOT INCLUDED.  Price to visit the castle and to Salamis is it 15Tl/person for each place

Karpaz

We start at 7:30 am for us to catch up with a stop for swimming up at the “Golden Beach” the longest and finest sandy beach about 3 km long. Karpaz peninsula is known for its wild donkeys and turtles lay their eggs in the golden stranden.I Dipkarpaz live Turkish and Greek Cypriots side by side. After lunch in Dipkarpaz, then we continue on to St. Andrew monastery which, according to tradition have healing waters. We end the day with a swim at Golden Beach before we begin our journey back home. NOTE: Full day tour 170 tl / person lunch included

Karpaz excursion can also be in two days, and then we stay out on the Karpaz peninsula.

The Blue Villa / Mavi Kosi

Today we start at 10.00 we will be back at you hotel about 14.00

The blue villa was owned by Pauli Polides once Makarios lawyer and til as Cyprus’s largest arms dealer. Today the museum on a military so why do you need to bring your passport.

The museum is worth a visit when the villa’s rooms and its location has its secrets.

This tour is a half day 55 TL / person

Girne and St Hillarion and Bella Pais

The bus will pick you up at you hotel about 10.00 – 13.30 halv tour full day you will be back at 16.00

We start by visiting the ST Hillarion castle which is one of North Cyprus’ three castles (ST Hillarion, Buffavento and Kantara). This is not for those afraid of heights, but it is worth a visit, about the time up to the Queen’s window 1 ½ – 2 hours. Price to visit the castle 15 tl/person

Then we continue our journey down to Girne / Kyrenia’s beautiful harbor, where we could sit and enjoy the nice atmosphere, or for those who want, and if time allows, also visit the oldest wreck inside of the fine museum, which was built by Venisianrna located at the harbor.

Bellapais Monastery, and the small village is today’s last outing.

After lunch depending on the time (the harbor or Bellapais)

Lefkosa / Nicosia, the capital (the last divided capital in Europe)

Time 09.00 – 14.00

Our capital city has much to offer for all tastes, whether you want to go shopping or go and look at the various attractions.

Come with us to the last divided capital in Europe, called Lefkorsa in Turkish and Nicosia in Greek, it is one of the oldest cities on the island. The city walls were built in 1567 by the Venetians to protect themselves. Much is preserved by the Ottoman Empire, the old part of the city has a very nice atmosphere, one can not believe that you are in a capital city.

Please visit also Buyuk Han.

Built in 1572 by Mustafa Pasha Cyprus’ first governor. An old motel where they used to take their camels and slept over. Today restored after the old style, and displaying and selling local handicrafts.

Famagusta / Gazi Magusa

Famagusta is located about 65 km from Girne / Kyrenia and has one of the island’s largest universiteter.Innom city walls are the Gammla part that also has a lot of business, but also (today) mosque was formerly the island’s largest church, St. Bridget again visited. Here were crowned kings of Jerusalem. Can be combined with Varosha (the dead city, here went charter tourists in the 60’s and 70’s). Full or half day price Full day 150 tl Price half day 65 tl
